Although I was born in Prague, I grew up in the forest in central Bohemia. Dogs have always been part of our family, first a labrador and ridgeback cross, later a FCR female Coffee, but I was always more attracted to horses. At the age of 18, I got my own horse, which taught me a lot about working with a problematic animal.

When 2020 came, I started longing for another four-legged partner who could accompany me in most of my activities. So I decided to get my own dog. I didn't want to underestimate the breed selection, so I consulted with my friend and dog trainer Julie, who convinced me that a toller would suit me. And then Evžen came to us.

I like to do things fully and the covid era allowed me to devote myself intensively to Evžen. I didn't expect the dog world to captivate me so much. I spend most of my free time, when I'm not fulfilling my work or study duties, with him, or he at least accompanies me in my activities. My big dream was to get from central Bohemia somewhere closer to the mountains, so since autumn 2023 we live in Liberec.

In the future, I plan to get a second redhead. However, everything has its time and I have to find a suitable breeding station thoroughly.
